Lady Lolas’ Festive Bliss Balls are about to change your X-mas for the better

She’s the meal prep goddess known on Instagram for her infectious smile, always positive energy, deliciously easy meal prep hacks and most recently, the launch of her MealprepMVP, a collection BPA free, reusable, stackable, microwave & dishwasher safe, quality meal prep containers. And Lady Lolas (AKA, Katie Lolas) is at it again, sharing her festive bliss ball recipe that’s about to make your Christmas SO MUCH better.


‘I have made these healthy little balls around Christmas time a few years in a row now and every time (before I make them) I think to myself, ‘Are they really that good? Are they worth making again?’ And, after making them, I realise every time that the answer is definitely YES! These are SO easy to make and SO good!’

LADY LOLAS’ CHRISSY BLISS BALL RECIPE

Ready in: 25 minutes | Makes: 12 – 20 balls


INGREDIENTS

  • 9 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nuts of choice (I used pecans)
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 tbsp cacao powder (I use@tropeaka)
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut or cacao for topping (optional)


METHOD

  • Soak dates and cranberries in a glass or small bowl of warm water for 10-15 minutes or until soft.
  • Drain and tip dates and cranberries into a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until well combined.
  • Remove mixture and roll into balls.
  • On separate plates, spread out desired toppings. Roll each ball in your chosen topping before placing it in a storage container and popping in the fridge.
