You know we love sharing our thoughts when we’re met with a pair of sneakers that tick all of our boxes. And just in time to kickstart our City2Surf running training, Under Armour have saved the day with their brand new UA HOVR Infinite D2D kicks in two new colourways.
Winning the 2019 Runner’s World ‘Recommended’ Award for good reason, the sneaker is designed to offer you the dream feature trifecta: flexibility, cushioning and versatility.
Constructed with compression mesh Energy Web and UA HOVR technology, these kicks give back the energy you put into them.
Whether you’re a fan of the all-black-everything triple black colourway, or a sucker for a pop of colour in the triple red, we’re certain you’ll send heads turning as you smash your PB.
But don’t take our word for it – the proof is in your trackable stride.
Yep, the shoe can be digitally connected to Under Armour’s longstanding running tracker app, Map My Run. How? With its embedded sensor in the midsole of the right foot that digitally connects seamlessly to the app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
The shoe tracks, analyses and stores detailed running metrics to help you improve performance.
‘It’s safe to say I’ve given these sneakers a run for their money and they’ve continued to be the gift that keeps on giving!’
‘I first put them on for an intense Interval Weights Training conditioning class at 98 Riley Street Gym, and was impressed by their ability to cushion my foot while offering flexibility and comfort, without holding me back.’
‘From sprints on the assault runner, ski erg and bike erg to burpees, plate push-ups and kettlebell swings, I quickly trusted the sneaker to support my versatile, high-intensity movements in comfort.’
‘But, it wouldn’t be a true test without taking them for a run. Packing them with on my trip to Melbourne for the long weekend, I went for a scenic 10k along the river, trialling them along gravel, grass and everything in between. The verdict? You not only want them, you NEED them.’
‘Comfortable, buoyant, flexible, cushioning – what more could you want from a sneaker? Plus, the triple-hued colourways make not only your run game-changing but your outfit too!’
