Trying to get toned but lacking the time? This 15 minute full-body Tabata workout by SWEAT trainer Kelsey Wells has got you covered! Based on the principles of Kelsey’s PWR training program, it’s perfect for those days when you need a quick sweat sesh that still packs a punch:


KELSEY WELLS’ 15 MINUTE FULL-BODY TABATA WORKOUT

Instructions

Tabata is about completing as many reptitions of an exercise as you can in a short period of time, followed by a short rest period.

For this circuit, complete the first exercise as many times as you can in 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds before moving onto the next exercise.

Once you have completed all six exercises, have a 60 second rest before starting the circuit again.

Complete the circuit four times for a 15 minute high-intensity workout. While you are trying to work as fast as you can, it’s important that you maintain good form. Quality is better than quantity!

THE CIRCUIT

Please note: You will need a stable bench and a mat to complete this workout.

20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest

1. Bench jump
2. Push-up
3. Bent-leg jacknife
4. Decline mountain climber
5. Alternating lunge
6. Burpee
