Here at Stylerunner, nothing excites us more than a drop of fresh new threads, so today, you could say that we’re pretty excited.

Launching just this morning (on a rooftop basketball court in Sydney’s CBD, no less) New Guard is the brainchild of Stylerunner’s Julie Stevanja and is best defined as a premium streetwear label influenced by a global attitude.

As founder and CEO of Stylerunner, creative director Julie Stevanja has, over the years, gained extensive knowledge of the international activewear market which lead to a clear vision on what she wanted New Guard to encompass.

“With evolving active lifestyles, a new fashion language is emerging and what our wardrobe needs to be capable of has also shifted. Dress codes are relaxing globally but that shouldn’t mean that fashionability is discarded,” says Stevanja.

“New Guard is my vision of luxury for the future, where comfort itself is considered a luxury and that fashion can remain aspirational without breaking the bank. As the name suggest, the collection represents the new way we live and how fashion plays into that.”

A carefully curated collection of track-inspired separates and luxe basics, New Guard has been designed to meet the needs of women on-the-go with both unrivalled comfort and style in mind.

Representing a new interpretation of luxury where comfort and functionality intersect with directional fashion concepts, New Guard embraces a neutral colour palette of soft blush, khaki and charcoal which transcend through the seasons.

Bell sleeves and cropped proportions create modern twists to the humble tracksuit while fabrications of French terry and velour proudly embrace an element of old-school cool.

The capsule is also made up of intricately embroidered bomber jackets, printed logo tanks and tees, branded sweats, drop-crotch trackies, skirts and oversized sweater dresses ranging from $69-$199.

You can shop New Guard now exclusively through and!
